Investment Types
We always put our focus on our customers investment and tax planning needs ensuring their arrangements are held in the most tax efficient way possible. We want you to find the product or service that most suits your needs, which is why we offer comprehensive consulting services to help you make an informed decision.

Investment Risk
Every client will have their own attitide to investment risk as some clients are 'cautious', whilst others may require a more 'balanced' investment approach, and others may require a more 'aggressive' approach aimed at maximising growth. Before making recommendations we always discuss this area in detail with clients to ensure our advice matches the client's specific requirements, which is also reviewed with them regularly.

Portfolios
A portfolio is a collection of diversified investments across different asset classes (for example, equities, fixed interest and cash) that is designed to provide an expected return in line with a corresponding level of investment risk. Some portfolios are reviewed periodically and others can be managed on a 'discretionary' basis. A 'discretionary' fund management approach is where your funds are selected, monitored and changed for you by an experienced and qualified portfolio manager, who works towards maximising your returns and reducing volatility where possible, all without your direct involvement. We work with a number of 'discretionary portfolio managers' who we refer clients to when this service is required.

Diversification
Diversification is a strategy that mixes a wide variety of investments within a portfolio to reduce portfolio risk.
Diversification is most often managed by investing in different asset classes such as shares, fixed interest & property funds but can also be achieved by purchasing investments in different countries, industries and varying sizes of companies.

Fund Types
You can invest directly in shares or other forms of investment, but a popular way to invest in them is indirectly through an investment fund. This is where your money is pooled with that of other investors and spread across different investments, helping to reduce risk. There are many ways of accessing investment funds, such as through Stocks & Shares Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs), Collective Investment Plans, Life Assurance Investment Bonds and Pension Plans.

Regular Reviews
We start with a conversation to understand your goals, including where you want to get to and what is important along the way. Once we understand your requirements and investment preferences, we will prepare a proposal that outlines your recommended wealth management strategy and an appropriate blend of services. When you register as a client, we will help you keep on track to meeting those goals via regular reviews.
